BrainCreators appoints Willem-Jan Veen as Chief Technology Officer

Amsterdam, June 16, 2022 - BrainCreators, the specialist in digital inspectors based on AI technology, announces the appointment of Willem-Jan Veen ( 53) as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In this role, Veen will shape and lead BrainCreators' technical vision and drive innovation to expand the digital inspector product portfolio. Willem-Jan takes over from Gerbert Kaandorp, who remains active as a board member and shareholder of BrainCreators. Kaandorp will become the Chief Innovation Officer of 'Total Perspective Vortex,' the venture studio for ai-based software brands and parent company of  BrainCreators. The appointment of Veen is part of the strategy to strengthen the market position of BrainCreators as a digital inspector product company and to realize its (international) growth ambitions. 

Veen brings over 30 years of experience in software development with him. He has expertise in coaching DevOps teams, developing innovations, setting up software development processes, and guiding digitization. Veen has held various roles at local and international organizations. As IT DevOps manager at MS Amlin, he was responsible for the DevOps team and the implementation of innovations and solutions. Veen studied information technology at the Delft University of Technology.
