If you are a skilled closer, fast learner and hard worker, you could be the qualified Software Sales Representative we are looking for to join our team. In your role, you will identify, qualify and secure new subscriptions for our flagship products. The successful candidate will be responsible for seeking new customers, managing a pipeline of sales opportunities, capturing and onboarding new clients and expanding their existing subscriptions. Success in this role will require a customer-centric approach, affinity with AI and technology, team collaboration and leadership.
Your role and responsibilities.
- Develop Strategic Sales Plans: You co-create a strategic sales plan that outlines clear objectives, targets, and timelines for achieving our goals. This plan will also include strategies for market research, prospecting, and engaging with potential clients.
- Through continuous personal development, you will become a subject-matter expert for our flagship products and act as an influencer and trusted advisor to your team, our clients, and our business partners.
- Identify New Business Opportunities: By proactively prospecting and engaging with potential clients, you can identify new business opportunities and expand our customer base. This will involve building relationships with key decision-makers, identifying their pain points, and demonstrating how our SaaS products can address their needs.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: To ensure customer engagement and product adoption, you must collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success. This will involve sharing market insights, customer feedback, and sales data to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: To identify key areas for business growth, you stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions. This will involve monitoring industry publications, attending industry events, and conducting competitor analysis.
- Communicate Value Proposition: To effectively communicate the value proposition of our SaaS products, you'll need to understand our target audience and their pain points. You'll demonstrate how our products can address those pain points and provide a clear ROI.
- Utilize CRM Software: To track sales activities, manage leads, and generate accurate sales reports, you utilize Hubspot CRM software. This will enable us to streamline our sales process, prioritise our leads, and identify areas for improvement.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise.
- Must be fluent in Dutch and English.
- Must reside in the Netherlands.
- Demonstrate 2-3+ years of experience as a B2B Software Seller or similar, selling software to Line of Business buyers.
- Experience with prospecting and hunting for new business.
- A consistent record of over-achievement versus targets and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
- You have exceptional negotiation and closing skills, focusing on delivering value-based solutions.
- Conversant and knowledgeable about SaaS business models, technology, industry trends, and its application to address business challenges (particularly within the Road & Maritime sector).
- Good understanding of consultative sales approach and appreciation for the value of building trust-based relationships with prospects.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills across written and verbal medians.
- Technical aptitude and experience with web and Artificial Intelligence, ideally with previous experience selling SaaS solutions.
- You are self-motivated and results-oriented, able to thrive in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
- You have proficiency in using digital sales tools and techniques (e.g. phone, Hubspot CRM, social media, email etc.)
- Readiness to travel up to 20% annually.
